Six months after leaving the Frogpond for a role as ECD, East Coast at digital agency Blast Radius, Serena Connelly is splitting for a new gig. Connelly, who oversaw creative for Blast’s New York and Toronto offices, is taking on a post as group creative director at LBi New York because according to BR, the “position at the smaller, independent agency is a better fit.” Blast Radius adds, “We wish her well.” From what we’ve been told, Connelly’s last day at the agency is this Friday.

Along with spending a year-and-a-half at StrawberryFrog as creative director, Connelly served as an ACD at R/GA and a senior copywriter at Leo Burnett during her career. While we’re on the topic of the Frog, signs point to yes on the Spy line that said agency’s ECD Corinna Falusi, who has spent nine years at StrawberryFrog, is leaving for a gig at Ogilvy and her last day at the Frogpond is also Friday the 13th. We haven’t received any official confirmation on her title/start date, but we’ll let you know.
