Sources familiar with the matter are telling us that Charlotte-based shop Loeffler Ketchum Mountjoy, better known as LKM, has closed its doors after 30 years. From what we hear, the agency, which a source says was “one of the great regional creative shops,” was down to a “skeleton crew” in recent weeks. A visit to the site shows that it’s been some time since LKM sent out a press release of any kind, but if you’re feeling inclined, here’s some background on the agency, which worked with clients including Cargill Dow and North Carolina Tourism. Calls and emails to LKM have been left unanswered, so draw your own conclusions…for now.
