Sources familiar with the matter are telling us that Charlotte-based shop Loeffler Ketchum Mountjoy, better known as LKM, has closed its doors after 30 years. From what we hear, the agency, which a source says was “one of the great regional creative shops,” was down to a “skeleton crew” in recent weeks. A visit to the site shows that it’s been some time since LKM sent out a press release of any kind, but if you’re feeling inclined, here’s some background on the agency, which worked with clients including Cargill Dow and North Carolina Tourism.
