This week, horror blogs have been salivating over this pretty nifty billboard which promotes a TV2 airing of American Psycho in New Zealand.

For those who haven’t seen the flick or read the book, this outdoor effort from Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland references the classic business card scene. The copy reads:

“The Perfect Billboard. Eggshell white with Romalian type. Nice. Raised lettering, a subtle 7 inch bone border, and just look at the tasteful thickness of the headline. All perched on four evenly spaced 3.2 metre powder coated stanchions. My god, it even has a watermark.”

While Ads of the World dates this effort back to last year, perhaps it was re-launched for an upcoming airing. Whatever the case, fans of AP like yours truly applaud the effort and will continue to try in vain to get a table at Dorsia.
