Now that it’s got its CCO arrangement figured out, Draftfcb’s San Francisco office is filling in other creative holes by adding John Kovacevich as VP,creative director on the Dockers and Del Monte accounts. Kovacevich, who officially assumes his post on September 1, arrives from Goodby, where he spent the last three years as an ACD on accounts including Chevy, Sonic and Tostitos.

It’s so hard to say goodbye to Goodby according Draft SF’s latest creative hire, who says, “It’s hard to leave a place like Goodby, but I’m excited about [new CCO Chris Ford's] vision for Draftfcb San Francisco and am happy to be joining the team. It feels like a great opportunity to continue building another great San Francisco shop, and the chance to partner with [new GCD] Julie [Scelzo] is  icing on the cake. Plus, I could really use some new Dockers, and I hear we get a discount.”
