According to The New York Times and Stuart Elliott, NPH (as the cool kids call him) will help promote Heineken Light in a humorous campaign created by Wieden + Kennedy New York that includes television and online spots and a microsite: besttastinglight.com.

GS&P Hires Two New Creative Directors

In a somewhat unprecedented move, GS&P turned the hiring of its two newest creative directors into…a customized beer cozy giveaway.

It’s symbolic, see: Danny Gonzalez and David Suarez, or “the guys who did all the Ragu and Little Caesar’s stuff at BFG”, will work on the Corona Light and Modelo accounts, hence the brew theme.

The duo most recently made news in 2012 when they jumped the Chiat ship to join BFG9000. Gonzales previously wrote copy for JWT while Suarez served as art director.

This move serves as a reunion of sorts as it once again unites Gonzales and Suarez with Eric Kallman, the copywriter behind “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” who Graf hired from W+K in 2011. Kallman, who has been CD at GS&P since February, writes:

“Working with them again will be like putting on a really comfortable pair of jeans, but jeans that also surprise you, impress you and make you laugh. So, basically, way better than jeans.”

We Hear: Suarez, Gonzalez Leave Chiat NY for BFG9000?

Like Chris Bradley‘s status at R/GA, things are murky at this point but sources are telling us that TBWA\Chiat\Day NY senior creative team David Suarez (art director) and Danny Gonzalez (copywriter) have left for gigs at Gerry Graf‘s fellow New York-based operation, BFG9000. We’ve been told the pair had only been at Chiat for 11 months, give or take. Prior to that, Suarez and Gonzalez held their respective AD and CW posts at JWT New York on campaigns for Huggies (remember this from a year ago?) among others. As always, we’ll let you know when we know, but from what we hear, the pair starts at BFG this week.

Update: Gerry Graf has confirmed to us that Gonzalez and Suarez are joining BFG9000 next week.

Huggies’ New Message: Babies are Little Terrors

JWT New York concocted this latest spot for Huggies, which shows that babies can be equal parts destructive and adorable (ok, probably more destructive). Directed by MJZ’s Fredrik Bond, the advert shows how a simple changing of diapers can result in total chaos. We can vibe with the freeze-frame aspect and music that’s fit for an episode of Boardwalk Empire in this clip, which has a clear message: Huggies turns toddlers into Chucky. Credits after the jump…
