A phone call to Blacksburg, VA-based Modea has confirmed that Kyle Lewis, who joined the agency as executive creative director nearly 18 months ago, is no longer there. Word from Modea, which bills itself as an “advertising agency with digital roots,” is that it has yet to find a replacement for Lewis, who moved to Virginia after spending nearly two decades at BBDO Atlanta. During his time at BBDO, Lewis worked on creative (as SVP/creative director most recently) for the likes of AT&T, Capital One, Dell, Delta and Wachovia ( now Wells Fargo, of course).

Last we heard from Modea, which tipsters allege has been ” hemorrhaging employees” as of late, was when it cut a third of its workforce nearly a year ago following the loss of its piece of the Verizon Wireless business.
