Here’s one for the “ridiculous” category: Britney Spears just got a new dog… and a Twitter account for it.

She adopted a pupppy, Hannah, then tweeted, “I want you all to meet my new little baby girl @hannahspears.”

Meet her for yourself via her Twitter account, which has the tagline “I’m Britney’s B***h.”

First a baby named Hashtag, now this.

The dog’s Twitter account already has almost 14,000 followers. Really?

Fun fact: around this time last year, Britney Spears became the sixth person to reach 10 million followers.

Hopefully this latest initiative of hers will be the Friendster of her Twitter initiatives.
