College sports is a multimillion dollar business in the U.S., and TigerLogic Corporation’s social platform company Postano is capitalizing.
Postano now allows colleges and universities to use its software to create social media command centers, real-time social displays on campuses and in stadiums, and social hubs for websites all within a single platform.
Schools already signed on with Postano include the University of Virginia, University of Oregon, and Arizona State University.
Said Grace Hoy, Social Media Coordinator ASU in a statement,
“The game day experience is truly unique, and Sun Devil Athletics aims to provide our fans with an interactive experience at Sun Devil Stadium. With Postano video board and website integration, we are able to highlight fan content from social networks like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook on the video board during ASU athletic events and increase overall fan engagement.”
The Postano Platform allows users to aggregate, curate and moderate content from 14 different social content sources – including Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine, Facebook and more. The social hub can be housed on a microsite, mobile site, or website, and easily screened large-scale.
Here’s what the University of Oregon’s Postano-powered social hub looks like for its Ducks football team:
In addition, University of Virginia’s Postano-powered Command Center allows them to see the entire gameday social media conversation, visually.
Non-sports Postano clients include CBS, Estee Lauder, Trina Turk, Skype, Smirnoff and more.
