Facebook grabbed 23.39 percent of social media traffic referrals in June 2014, up almost five percentage points from May, and more than two percentage points quarter-on-quarter.
Pinterest was second amongst social networks, with a 5.72 percent share (down from May’s 6.45 percent, and also down quarter on quarter), while Twitter finished third, with its 1.03 percent share pretty much flat across the year.
Despite Twitter’s relative lack of oomph, it’s worth noting that its slice of the referral pie is still bigger than Reddit, YouTube, Google+ and LinkedIn’s combined.
