That’s the gist of what Facebook staffer Jon Park said in his video proposal to longtime girlfriend, Twitter employee Genevieve Wong. Well… sort of.
The video is called the “Twitbook Proposal,” and you have to see it.
This past weekend, tattoo artist and TV personality Kat Von D got engaged to DJ Deadmau5.
The groom-to-be tweeted a photo of the engagement ring along with a message: “I can’t wait for Christmas so…. Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?”
The lady accepted, also via Twitter.
So is this an anomaly? Or are Twitter marriage proposals a thing these days?
Today is Leap Day, February 29th, and it comes once every four years. There’s a whole barrel full of traditions and superstitions related to this rare day, but one of the more romantic is that women are “allowed” to propose to men today (and today only).
