House Republicans did it in April and now it appears to be the Democrats’ turn: Competing for followers on Twitter.
You put them there, so you should understand not only how your members of Congress are voting on the issues you care about, but also how they’re using Twitter (especially if they’re sending lolcat links during a session…).
The top four Republican presidential candidates are battling it out on televised debates, attack ads and, yes, on Twitter. So who’s winning the race in 140-characters or less?
The Republican candidates are facing off against one another for the coveted spot of Presidential nominee to go head-to-head against Obama in the US elections this November. And all of them have invested considerable efforts into courting the social media crowd.

Republican candidates will be participating in their third debate today, but this time they’ll have to interact using computers and smartphones. They will be participating in a Twitter debate, answering pertinent questions about how they would run the US in 140-characters or less.
