Back in March we looked at data that tracked tweets openly talking about alcohol, as well as weed, LSD, cocaine and methamphetamine, across Twitter. The numbers were pretty insane.
Taking this a step further, DrugAbuse.com have analyzed 451,484 vice-related tweets across the U.S. to identify the “vice capitals” of America and, surprise, surprise, it’s Las Vegas that leads the way.
Vegas is most famous, of course, for its legalised gambling, but the city dominated vice talk across Twitter, which included alcohol, sex and a variety of drugs.
Pittsburgh finished second in the study, mostly thanks to a strong alcohol showing (go Steelers), with New Orleans (sex), Buffalo (MDMA) and Boston (booze) rounding out the top five.
