ABC’s Robin Roberts Lands First FLOTUS Interview
TVNewser reports: ABC News’ Robin Roberts will sit down with Michelle Obama for her first interview since becoming First Lady. The interview, airing Friday on Good Morning America, takes place during Obama’s first official trip, to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
Portions of the interview air on World News and Nightline.
Roberts interviewed Michelle Obama on the campaign trail in August, and conducted the first interview with President Barack Obama from the Neighborhood Ball (which ABC had exclusive broadcast rights to). ABC News also conducted the first interview with former First Lady Laura Bush.
