Anonymass Tip of the Week

The tip (which came in this morning): “Wait. All the puff pieces about Tucker Carlson say he gave up booze years ago. Is that a virgin mint julep in his hand?”

This is in reference to the party picture we ran yesterday of Daily Caller Editor-in-Chief Tucker Carlson who appeared in a picture on the night of the SOTU at George with his employees, who were doing shots. Carlson had a drink in his hand — it was a hardcore soft drink. Carlson has been an admitted teetotaler for years.

“It was ginger ale,” a spokesperson said. “He wanted to be part of the party. Which is actually still pretty “crazy” for Tucker because he doesn’t drink/eat sugar.”

FishbowlDC was present at the party and can attest that Carlson was not drinking alcohol.
