AnonymASS Tipster of the Week

6a00d83451db1569e200e550451cec8833-640wi.jpg This tipster isn’t so much quintessential AnonymASS as he or she is portraying an ability for creative nastiness.

In this post, the tipster suggests that famous photographer Annie Liebowitz is taking a job with National Journal.
Of course, it isn’t so, as we’ve checked it out with NJ just to be safe than sorry. But we imagine Editor-in-Chief Ron Fournier would be pretty ecstatic if it was.

Read the fake internal memo from Fournier after the jump in which he says how impressed he has been with Liebovitz’s talents over the years…

Ron Fournier on National Journal’s newest hire: Colleagues, I am very proud to announce our newest hire. Annie Leibovitz will be joining the staff as a photographer, working with Rick Bloom. I’ve been impressed with Annie’s talents for many years and am especially proud to bring her to Washington full time. “I am thrilled to be joining National Journal,” Leibovitz says. “I’ve had a copy in my bathroom for years and found it particularly good for swatting at spiders and waving away the fumes of particularly bad blowouts.” I will be posting Annie full time at the Federal Communications Commission to snag compelling shots Commissioner of Michael Copps. If she can get a halfway decent shot of FCC Staff Director Marlene Short, that would be great too. Cheers, Ron
