The AP is advertising on JournalismJobs.com to fill the role of Washington bureau chief – a slot left vacant when Ron Fournier was recruited away by National Journal. Now I’m not judging and desperate times certainly do call for desperate measures but bureau chief just isn’t the kind of job you generally see advertised online. Interesting approach though, AP.
