Are the Salahis More Popular Than Oliver Stone?

alg_tareq_michaele_salahi.jpg oliver-stone.jpg

If a sold out Q & A Cafe in Washington is any indication, then the Salahis (as much as people here in D.C. like to snicker about them) are gaining in popularity. Blogger and writer Carol Joynt‘s Q & A Cafe with Tareq and Michaele Salahi on June 17 is sold out, whereas the event with movie director Oliver Stone has 20 seats left. The Stone event has secured 50 reservations; the Salahi cafe, 75. The Salahis sold out in two days. There’s still time for Stone.

Even Joynt’s surprised:”What is this world coming to???” she wrote me.

But, she says, she has a good question for the party crashing couple: “How has your marriage been made stronger by the Real Housewives?”

Details: Both events take place at The Ritz in Georgetown. The cost: $50. Seating begins at noon. Reservations: 202.912.4110. Visit Joynt’s site here.
