If you’re an expert manager with a strong interest in public policy and current events, C-SPAN needs you. The network is looking for an assignment desk director to coordinate editorial coverage for both local and national events.

In this role, you’ll supervise the logistical planning of events, including scheduling local crews, hiring remote crews, booking feeds and overseeing day-to-day desk operations. Those with the ability to juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat would be perfect for this position.

To be considered, you’ll need at least eight years of related work experience and a minimum of two years of management experience. You should have a proven track record of keen editorial decision-making and technical knowledge of TV production and e-news gathering, as well as grasp on C-SPAN’s programming mission. Interested?
