CNN’s John King Weighs in on “Question Controversy”
Speaking at the National Press Club tonight, CNN’s chief national correspondent, John King, discussed the recent controversy over CNN’s presidential debates and the backgrounds of some of the questioners.
There were some fundamental mistakes — journalism school mistakes — made by my news organization in the fact that the general, and there may be one or two lesser examples, were allowed to ask their questions.
Speaking personally … I think it was inexcusable … It shouldn’t have happened.
