Correcting the Corrections

With his Extreme vision, Howard Mortman (did you know he was up for a Blog Award?) notes this today:

    During the most recent Democratic presidential debate, Dennis Kucinich said,

      “More people in this country have seen UFOs than, I think, approve of George Bush’s presidency.’”

    Of course that’s wrong, as the Washington Post points out today in its Pinocchios fact-checking feature:

      Wrong. According to a pre-Halloween Associated Press poll, 14 percent of Americans say they have seen a UFO. The president’s current approval rating is currently hovering around 34 percent. Three Pinocchios.

    But there’s something wrong with the Post’s fact-check — the headline:

      The President Flies Far Above UFOs, Senator

    Kucinich, of course, is a Representative.
