Cowboy Bob Grows a Beard
CBS’ Bob Schieffer doesn’t have a stake in “Goatee Gamble,” the National League Championship Series bet between NBC’s Chuck Todd and ABC’s Jake Tapper, but he’s growing a beard anyway.
The “Face the Nation” anchor surprised colleagues in the Washington bureau Monday with the new look after spending a week off in Texas. The cowboy beard will make its debut in DC on the stage of the Rock and Roll Hotel tonight for “Karaoke in the Capitol.” Schieffer tells us he’ll also be donning his signature cowboy hat, boots and belt buckle.
No word yet if the beard makes it until Sunday…
