Does Chris Matthews Need Miss Manners?

FNC’s Greta Van Susteren, host of “On the Record” posed an interesting poll question to viewers on her program last night.

She asked, “Does MSNBC’s Chris Matthews need a visit from Miss Manners?”

The question came on the heels of Matthews’s interview with Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) on election night in which he repeatedly asked her if someone had hypnotized her that evening. Matthews expressed frustration that Bachmann wasn’t addressing his questions but instead spoke in meandering soundbites.

Tragically, we may not ever learn the results of Greta’s poll question. There were technical difficulties, she told FishbowlDC, and she wasn’t notified until she was on the street and headed home. Once at home, Greta attempted to fix the problem but could not. Now she’s off to Texas to interview Bush 43.

Apparently some things take precedence over whether Matthews needs to be schooled in manners.
