National Journal Group, Washington’s leading publisher of political and policy news and analysis, announced today that Linda Douglass is joining the editorial staff of its flagship publication, National Journal, as a Contributing Editor. Douglass, a veteran of network television news, was most recently ABC News’s Chief Capitol Hill Correspondent. Douglass left ABC in December, 2005, and has served as a Senior Fellow at New York University’s Brademas Center for the Study of Congress at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service since then. She will join the staff of National Journal on June 11.
At National Journal, Douglass will write for both the magazine and web site on topics related to presidential politics and Congress. Additionally, Douglass will contribute to other publications within National Journal Group’s portfolio of print and online publications. Her writing will also appear on MSNBC.com through the existing partnership between National Journal and MSNBC’s web site. She will serve as an on-air political analyst providing insight on the 2008 Presidential campaign and commentary on the action on Capitol Hill, and will participate in events sponsored by National Journal.
