Is Cillizza a Sign of the Future?

In January’s Washingtonian, Harry Jaffe wonders whether the future of the Washington Post looks like Chris Cillizza, the hard-working Post blogger doing double-duty as both author of The Fix and a regular dead tree edition writer.

“Cillizza is the first person hired by Washingtonpost.com–based in Virginia–to spend most of his time in the downtown newsroom, according to political editor John Harris. The Post may have found the crossover reporter to bridge the gap between its print newspaper and Internet site,” Jaffe says.
