Layoffs at Roll Call-CQ
FishbowlDC has confirmed three of the rumored twelve recent layoffs at the newly-merged Roll Call-CQ group. Mike Schmidt, Helen Dye and Martin Moulton are all out.
Sources tell us that there are rumblings of mandatory interviews positioned as “getting to know you” meetings that have already begun on the business side of the organization. These meetings are expected to reach editorial in the coming months. Office Space, anyone?
One source told FishbowlDC of the layoffs, “It defies HR logic. They’ve released their top two non-white executives, an openly-gay staffer and their oldest female” after the merge.
