The LA Kings beat the New Jersey Devils last night winning their first Stanely Cup ever. No doubt it’s an historic occasion for the NHL team.

But it’s also important to NBC Congressional Correspondent Luke Russert, who apparently is just as much a part of this celebration as you are. Last night Russert tweeted a photo of himself posing with the trophy, vowing that some day it will belong to his favorite team, the Buffalo Sabres.

We couldn’t help but marvel at Russert posing with the trophy.
