Marquardt Joins ABC, Jets Off To Moscow
Alexander Marquardt joins ABC from CNN today as a digital reporter based in Moscow. He’ll be reporting on all ABC News platforms, including “World News,” “Nightline,” and “Good Morning America.” At CNN, Marquardt was an embed reporter covering the Obama, Clinton and Biden campaigns, and before that, he was an anchor and correspondent at Channel One News.
Appropriately enough, Marquardt’s friends and colleagues gathered at Russia House this weekend to bid him “dasvidaniya!” Erin McPike, Mike Memoli, Sunlen Miller, Carrie Dann, Mark Murray, Jeff Zeleny, Bonnie Kapp, Matt Jaffe, Dan Reilly and Meg Reilly were among those who came out for some vodka shots in Marquardt’s honor.
