WaPo‘s Richard Leiby, HuffPo’s Michele Leiby, writer Lucky Roosevelt, Washington Life‘s Kevin Chaffee, Kelly Torrance and HuffPo’s Stephanie Green are just some of the journalist who gut gussied up in black-tie attire and elaborate masks for the Washington National Opera’s Masked Ball gala over the weekend.
The elegant fundraiser was held at the Embassy of Italy following the season-opening performance of Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera (A Masked Ball) at the Kennedy Center Opera House.
