Rep. King on Liddy: Obama Favors Black People

Roll Call‘s John Stanton reports that Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) is accusing Obama of favoring black people. Stanton got the scoop from a clip of an interview King did on G. Gordon Liddy‘s radio show.

An excerpt
“The president has demonstrated that he has a default mechanism in him that breaks down the side of race — on the side that favors the black person,” King, who is white, argued during the interview.

Stanton tapped the quote from politicalcorrection.org, a lefty site associated with Media Matters Action Network. Political Correction did not seek comment from King in its writeup; Stanton sought comment from King but “a King spokesman did not immediately return a request for comment.”

Liddy’s radio show is syndicated by Radio America on both Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio.
