Reporter Leaves The Daily Caller to….

Aleksandra Kulczuga, a scribe for The Daily Caller, is leaving the publication to tie the knot.

She and her fiance, who is an Army Ranger, will move to gorgeous Monterrey, Calif. for his new assignment. To be sure, she won’t be twiddling her thumbs. She has won a Phillips Foundation grant to study Poland’s involvement in Afghanistan and the countries’ close relationship to the U.S. on the War on Terror.

“While we’re sad to lose her, there’s no doubt that she’s about to embark on a very exciting journey, if I’m allowed to be so trite,” said Daily Caller spokeswoman Becca Glover Watkins.

Former Defense Sec. Donald Rumsfeld gave her high praise Tuesday night at a Phillips Foundation dinner where she spoke. Rumsfeld gave her no less than a standing ovation at the end of her speech. Watch him pop up (solo!) at the end of the short YouTube clip below.
