Congratulations to both.

Roll Call staff announcement: We are thrilled to announce that Emily Yehle is joining the politics team. She’s a top-flight reporter, she’s smart and she knows what makes a Roll Call story. Emily has had a great run at Roll Call since 2006, as an intern, editorial assistant and Campus reporter. Her coverage of the Capitol Police, the Capitol Visitor Center and many other aspects of the Capitol Hill community was always fresh, unique and strongly written. Emily was recognized this year by the Maryland-Delaware-D.C. Press Association for her story on one of Capitol Hill’s most colorful police officers. (You know the one; he shouted at many of us over the years for jaywalking.) We are also delighted to announce that Tricia Miller is being promoted to Roll Call staff writer and will take over the Campus beat that Emily is vacating. Tricia has been an editorial assistant for Roll Call for nearly two years, writing for the Around the Hill section as well as contributing to our Campus coverage. Tricia is an outstanding team player who smoothly handled the responsibilities of an editorial assistant while covering Capitol Hill and H Street development, and writing plenty of book reviews and obits. Tricia jumps into the Campus beat with great enthusiasm and a great foundation for success. Please join us in congratulating our colleagues and wishing them the best as they take on new challenges within the C–Roll Call family.
