Roll Call’s Toeplitz to Politico
Roll Call’s Shira Toeplitz, who works for the politics desk, has taken a job with Politico. She starts next month. We’re hearing reaction wasn’t so warm and fuzzy.
Judging from Toeplitz’s tweet late yesterday, it hasn’t been the easiest few days in the world: “You know it’s been a rough day when it’s 6:27 and you’ve already had a martini.”
But maybe life is taking a turn. Tonight she plans to attend the Congressional Dinner. She tweeted, “Who loves changing for a blacktie event in the company bathroom? I do!”
