John Solomon Named Executive Editor of Center for Public Integrity
John Solomon, who left TWT in a management shakeup late last year, has been named executive editor of the Center for Public Integrity, a nonprofit investigative news organization.He went to work as TWT‘s Executive Editor in 2008. Before that, he was an investigative reporter at WaPo, and prior to that, he worked for the AP, where he was Asst. Washington Bureau Chief.
Solomon was a “Journalist-in-Residence” at the Center last spring. He will be responsible for all editorial and digital operations at the Center.
He will oversee a newsroom that will soon incorporate the staff of the non-profit Huffington Post Investigative Fund. The Center and Fund will join operations in Jan. 2011.
