Sweet Gig: PopSugar Seeks D.C. Market Editor

If you are a veritable ambassador of cool, PopSugar has the perfect job for you. The site is looking for a D.C. Market Editor to hone in all that’s new, trendy and fun in food, shopping, entertainment and more.

In this role, you’ll research area hot spots and openings, writing articles and daily offers . You’ll manage the site’s offer calendar; coordinate photographers and shoots; and work to build traffic for the D.C. city guide. Of course, it will be your responsibiliy to keep on top of local events, media and social networks so you can stay in the know.

To land this gig, you should have three to five years of experience in online writing/editing or blogging. You should be comfortable churning out witty, accurate copy under daily deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. D.C. enthusiasts with HTML and Photoshop skills should apply here.
