The Hill‘s Ben Geman Picked Up By National Journal

In a memo to staff today, National Journal Editor-in-Chief Tim Grieve announced that Ben Geman has been hired away from The Hill to join their energy team:

It’s no exaggeration to say that I’ve been trying to hire Ben for almost four years now. And if you follow energy news, you know why. From his perch at The Hill — and particularly the E-2 Wire — Ben has been breaking news and giving his competitors fits on a daily basis.  It will be a great to have him on our team.

Geman has covered the energy beat at The Hill for the past four years and will report to work at NJ on December 2nd. Congrats from FishbowlDC, Ben, on the new gig!

According to Hugo Gurdon, E2 Wire was designed to offer fast, complete coverage of an area of debate, legislation and regulation that is moving to the top of the political agenda.
