Battle of the Hat Ladies

A fiery battle between two prominent hat ladies is heating up on Cable TV. In the past few weeks, the “All Fired Up” woman — Edith Childs — appeared on Rev. Al Sharpton‘s MSNBC program. But as political Washington knows, Rep. Federica Wilson (D-Crazytown)  is also well known for wearing bizarre hats on TV. They range from pink and shiny to canary yellow to black and bold. Though her look detracts from her message and makes her look like a mental hospital escapee, her defiance on the matter is impressive. No stylist in the world could stop her. She won’t appear on TV without her signature cowboy hat.

Who wears it better?

We think the “All Fired Up” lady wins. Hands down.

Did Wasserman Schultz Put Snakes in Her Hair?

We think they’re supposed to be stylish ringlets a la Shirley Temple and the Good Ship Lollipop, but this weekend DNC Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) went on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” with a hairdo that could frighten small children and the elderly.

As Anonymous D.C. Bigmouth (a new source who occasionally speaks only on the condition of anonymity ) put it, “Debbie W-S did the impossible yesterday. She made her hair look worse than usual. You have to look at it. I am not being sexist here. But you couldn’t get past the hair look to hear what she was saying. For God’s sake, is there anyone in the Democratic Party with the balls to tell her to execute her hair stylist?”
