Hot Ticket: Cap File Post-WHCD Party

Slashed guest lists, merged parties and budget cuts across-the-board have made WHCD party invites much harder to come by this year. With only two hundred spots up for grabs at Bloomberg’s joint party with Vanity Fair, an invite to Cap File’s fete at the Corcoran Gallery has become a newly coveted prize.

TWT’s Green & Glover report that Wanda Sykes, Anne Hathaway, Sting, Kevin Bacon, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Ellen Burstyn, Dana Delany, Kara DioGuardi, Barry Levinson, Eva Longoria Parker, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Matthew Modine, Bill O’Reilly, Narciso Rodriguez, Christian Slater, Jon Voight, Kate Walsh, Kerry Washington and Forest and Keisha Whitaker will all be present at Saturday night’s Capitol File soiree.

Check out TWT for more on this and Cap File’s new issue.

More Prom Dates…

Glamour magazine fittingly nabbed White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers, who is also a special guest at the Capitol File after party (with Valerie Jarrett and dinner entertainment headliner Wanda Sykes).

Also at Glamour’s table: Narciso Rodriguez, Alicia Keys, Kenneth Cole, Kerry Washington and the Vice President’s daughter, Ashley Biden.

People Magazine is bringing Sting and Trudie Styler, Miranda Cosgrove, Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy, Eva Longoria Parker, Kevin Bacon, Ludacris, Jon Hamm and Forest Whitaker.

Fortune will host George Lucas and Glenn Close (far better than last year’s Heidi and Spencer).

The Atlantic has invited Newt Gingrich and “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick.

WWD also reports The Atlantic will host a Friday night dinner and a pre-dinner cocktail reception at the Hilton, co-hosted by the National Journal Group and ABC.
