NYT’s Chan Flees D.C. for Manhattan
Sewell Chan, a reporter in the NYT Washington bureau is leaving to become Deputy Op-ed Editor at the NYT in NYC.
Motoko Rich, NYT national economics reporter and former books reporter, congratulates him, saying, “Congrats to @sewellchan, our indefatigable man at the Fed, who now goes to be NYT’s deputy Op-Ed page editor.” And Sewell’s reaction to the news? “Will miss DC but am thrilled about this opportunity.”
