The Atlantic Gets Artsy w/ Luminato

The Atlantic announced a multi-year partnership with Luminato, Toronto Festival of Arts and Creativity today.

The Atlantic will work with Luminato on an additional panel discussion for the 2009 Festival that is already slated to showcase the likes of Ann-Marie MacDonald, Neil Gaiman, and 2008 Booker Prize-winner Aravind Adiga.

Luminato, its sponsors and arts partners, will be the exclusive advertisers in The Atlantic’s summer fiction issue, which will receive a special distribution of 25,000 copies at the Festival.

The Atlantic‘s 2009 fiction issue features essays by Margaret Atwood, Alice Sebold, Tim O’Brien, Joseph O’Neill, and Anne Michaels. Authors Paul Theroux, Rick Bass, Jill McCorkle, Kent Nelson, Wayne Harrison, Tea Obreht, and Alexi Zentner have contributed short fiction pieces to the issue.
