Convicted Baldwin Stalker Gives Daily News Another Jailhouse Interview

ShutterstockAlecBaldwinHilariaThomasIf you thought the end of the Alec Baldwin-Genevieve Sabourin trial would bring her moment in the media spotlight to a simultaneous close, there are now two Daily News articles to prove you wrong.

In the first item, published last Friday, Sabourin – who has begun serving seven months at Rikers Island – claimed she has been sleeping on an excrement-covered floor and had suffered a heart attack while in prison. Both charges were denied by prison officials.

Today, the News has more Sabourin news, courtesy of a ten-minute Saturday sit-down at Rikers:

The busty actress, first arrested in April 2012, accused the media of ignoring her side of the story in the case.
“Where have you been for the last two years?” she asked a News reporter. “Where were you journalists two years ago? Nobody asked to interview me then.”

In the NYDN comments, Olddog asks: When will her reality show start? The good news is that Canada, Toronto mayor Rob Ford notwithstanding, is typically not interested in turning its celebrity-adjacent citizens into salacious reality TV series. The bad news is many U.S. cable purveyors may well seriously consider a fall 2014 offering along the lines of Stalking Hollywood. Either way, Sabourin may well pop up here once her sentence is completed.
