Another Editor Leaves Men’s Journal

tfosterparadise.jpgFollowing Tom Foster‘s departure in January comes the latest exit at the “turbulent” world of Wenner Media, as relayed by MJ editor Jim Kaminsky:

Everyone:

It is with great regret that I’m announcing that James Lochart, Men’s Journal’s managing editor for the past year, has decided to leave his post on June 12, after the close of the August issue. James has been an invaluable part of this staff during its remarkably turbulent (and fun-filled!) past year, and in all has logged three years at Wenner Media.

On his own volition, James has decided the time is right to explore the bountiful world beyond Wenner. His unflappable demeanor, complete dedication and encyclopedic Mets knowledge will be missed.

James was kind enough to give me a long lead time to find a great replacement. Men’s Journal’s new Managing Editor is Brekke Fletcher. For the past two years she has been Managing Editor at Jane, and previously she held Managing Editor positions at Elle Girl, FHM, and Lucky. She is terrific and I feel fortunate to have her on board. She starts on June 6.

Please join me in thanking James for all of his great work, wishing him the best of luck and in welcoming Brekke. Enormous, blowout goodbye party tk.

JK
