Bloomberg News Adds Edward Greenspon

Bloomberg NewsBloomberg News has hired Edward Greenspon as editor-at-large in Canada. Greenspon is a well known journalist among our friends to the North. He has spent seven years as editor-in-chief of Canada’s national newspaper, The Globe and Mail, and since 2010 he has served as VP of the Toronto Star’s publisher, Torstar Corporation.

“We welcome Ed to Bloomberg News with excitement, knowing that his knowledge and experience will elevate our coverage of this important country,” said Bloomberg News senior executive editor, Laurie Hays, in a statement.

Greenspon will report to Bloomberg News executive editor Jonathan Kaufman in New York.
