Denver ’08: Iranians, They’re Just Like Us
.jpg)
We arrived in Denver last night too late to catch any of the festivities — it turns out Albuquerque is remarkably a super long drive from the Mile High City — but we did make it down to the Civic Center Park in time to check out The Manjushri Project‘s “pictures of you” art installation. The exhibit, open from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. today, features huge images of Iranian people printed on translucent fabric arranged in a large, walk through building. After a long day of travel, it was quite striking. More images after the jump.
