Don Dahler Reworks Contract; Remains With WCBS as Weekend Anchor
Don Dahler is staying put at WCBS/Channel 2. Dahler, with WCBS since 2007, saw his role altered with the return of Chris Wragge to co-anchor at 6 p.m. with Dana Tyler. Wragge rejoined WCBS earlier this week.
Dahler has been shifted to weekend anchor and weekday reporter. Additionally, the veteran newsman will be a contributor for the 5 p.m. newscast with Maurice DuBois and Kristine Johnson.
Dahler’s bio has already been updated on the station’s website. FishbowlNY has learned that WCBS is expected to make the official announcement on Thursday.
Update: Dahler will anchor the weekend early morning and evening broadcasts.
