Ebony Unveils New Website

Today, Ebony magazine launched a new website redesigned by creative agency Code and Theory.

In addition to a new look, Ebony.com has a number of new content categories including “Careers & Finance,” “Love & Sex,” “Entertainment & Culture,” “Wellness & Empowerment,” “Life” and “Style.” The “Speak” video roundtable series covers conversations by bloggers and thinkers on topics relevant to the African-American community. There’s a Twitter-powered “Discuss” vertical and the “Introducing” section highlights underexposed Black talent in the world of music, art and fashion.

“The relaunch and redesign of Ebony.com represents a true extension of our brand,” said Amy DuBois Barnett, editor-in-chief. “It provides a platform to showcase our cutting-edge content while complementing the classic appeal of the magazine. Most important, the new website is intrinsic to our identity as a leading and passionate voice for the African-American community.”
