Former Transplant Talks Supposed Implants

drloun.jpg Surgeons aren’t supposed to talk about their patients. But apparently, they can blog all they want about anyone else’s. Dr. Tony Youn, a first-season plastic surgeon on E!’s Dr. 90210 (who is now back in his homestate of Michigan as a Dr. 48307), blogs about celebrities whom he thinks may have have possibly had some plastic surgery and the problems they may or may not have encountered since.

To wit:

With all the talk about Jessica Simpson admitting to having Restylane injections (and not liking them), check out the latest post on Good Plastic They have photos of Courtney Cox with a set of plumped up lips which look pretty good.

The key to a set of nicely-augmented lips is maintaining the natural lip proportions. In most people, the lower lip is 1.5 times the size of the upper lip. Many surgeons tend to overaugment the upper lip, creating an unnatural appearance which can be spotted by virtually anybody. This can be seen in people like Meg Ryan, Lisa Rinna, Melanie Griffith, and Mick Jagger (ha!).

That “ha!” is his. We didn’t ha. We’re not ha-ing.
