Former WSJer Fred Wiegold Dead at 61
FishbowlNY is sad to report the passing of Fred Wiegold, who died suddenly over the weekend. He was 61. Wiegold was most recently a senior editor at Bloomberg News. Prior to this he spent 18 years at the Wall St. Journal as the founding editor of the Money & Investing section, as well as a contributing editor at Smart Money magazine. He also served as the Journal’s personal finance columnist for more than a decade.
