Giant Sale?

Jamie Hooper, owner/publisher of Giant — the beleaguered, baffling men’s magazine that has seemingly changed editorial direction as often as Radar has been relaunched — is selling the magazine to Radio One, Radar reports:

Sources close to [Hooper] speculate that he may leave the magazine business altogether for a career in political fundraising. Says one Giant insider, “Jamie’s gotta be thanking his lucky fucking stars.”

OK, then.

Earlier this year, unsubstantiated rumors had Giant being sold to Marc Ecko‘s Complex, leaving the open the intriguing possibility of an uber-magazine called Giant Complex, something Complex publisher Rich Antoniello vehemently denied.
