Janice Min: $2.5 Million Richer

It’s official: Janice Min just signed a two-year, $2.5 million contract with Jann Wenner. Specifics, via the New York Post:

  • $1.5 million base salary
  • $500,000 circulation bonus
  • $500,000 in undisclosed bonuses

    We reported on the negotiations yesterday. The thing to note, however, is that the Post completely scooped WWD on this. All indications in yesterday’s edition were that negotiations were at an impasse … Then, the next day, the Post comes out with details of the new contract and even info on OK! mag’s attempts to lure her away. Either way, Min is sticking with Us — and possibly penning more Slate pieces.
