The prestigious James Beard Foundation announced its annual award nominations for food journalism and writing. No surprise, LA Weekly‘s Jonathan Gold is on the list–nominated for best food-related feature and for the “M.K. Fischer Distinguished Writing Award.” Gold is also on the list of the “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America” inductees.
Los Angeles magazine’s Patric Kuh earned himself a nomination for the “Craig Claiborne Distinguished Restaurant Review Award” as well as a nod for the M.K. Fischer award for his writing in Saveur.
